COMING TOGETHER AGAINST COVID
Premiered May 1st
The Coming Together Against COVID-19 Concert was co-organized by Cecilia Yang and Ella Lan from the Harker School. We brought together high school students from the Bay Area to perform various acts in order to raise money for WHO's COVID-19 Response Fund; all funds went to the response fund to support the global fight against COVID-19 and help those communities that are most impacted by the pandemic. Through this concert, we were able to raise over $2,000, surpassing our original goal of $1,500. Additionally, our concert currently has over 500 views on Youtube; we truly hope that it has inspired people of the community to come together!

COMING TOGETHER: THE STORY OF A SEED
Premiered July 23rd
Coming Together: The Story of a Seed was co-organized by Cecilia Yang and Ella Lan from the Harker School. We were able to expand beyond the Bay Area and brought together many students from all over the world (Hawaii, Canada, and China) to perform various visual and performing arts acts to raise money for NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness Santa Clara. All funds went to support the destigmatization of mental health and provide assistance to those who need it. We were able to raise over $2,000 and also interviewed Andres Lorez, the NAMI walk coordinator to understand his insight on this issue. In our interview, he shared his personal story of how he was able to continue living a productive life helping others with mental illnesses, despite having bipolar disorder himself. He also explained the general lives of many who are diagnosed with a variety of different mental health complications. Mental health is such an important issue; our story of the seed aims to not only reduce stigma around mental health but also promote a sense of belonging and understanding among our participants and viewers.

Participants Include: Cecilia Yang, Marie Chen, Fangxu Gong, Siyu Li, Desiree Poon, Richard Alden, Juliana Li, Wanruo Wang, Alyssia Chen, Lily Jiang, Ella Lan, Ethan Chiu, Katherine Chen, and Henry Tsay
